Sushi Song excitedly announces its first-ever participation in the iconic Fantasy Fest Parade, taking place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 7 PM. The annual parade, a highlight of the 10-day Fantasy Fest celebration, winds through Key West’s famous Duval Street, drawing tens of thousands of spectators.
The parade, known for its high-energy atmosphere, features festive floats, walking groups, bicycle brigades, and human-powered kinetic machines. This year’s theme celebrates 1990s nostalgia, with costumes and floats inspired by iconic moments from the decade, including “Harry Potter,” the film “Titanic,” and bold fashion statements.
Sushi Song Key West proudly joins this extraordinary event. “Key West holds a special place in our hearts, and our guests have shown us incredible love and support,” says Chef Wijai “Song” Ketsuwan, founder and visionary behind Sushi Song and Thai Song. “We believe in participating in events that celebrate the spirit of this community, and Fantasy Fest is the perfect opportunity to come together with our friends, neighbors, and the LGBTQ community, who have been such an important part of our journey.”
Sushi Song’s float will bring an exciting element of surprise to the parade, featuring a mobile entertainment station with live performers. The team has kept specific details a secret but promises to deliver a memorable experience that reflects their commitment to fun and inclusivity.
In addition to its parade debut, Sushi Song Key West will host special events throughout the week, offering live entertainment by DJ Xavier, drink specials, and opportunities to celebrate alongside the local community.
